Baltimore City Chamber & Mercy Hospital Host Legislative Reception

The beautiful new Bunting Center at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore served as the background for the 3rd Annual Legislative Reception presented by the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce.  Attendees got an opportunity to meet members of the Baltimore City Council, Maryland State Legislators, city, state and appointed officials.  The Legislative Reception, one of the hallmarks of the Chamber’s very active agenda, provided a relaxed forum where businesspersons could mingle with their local legislators to discuss items specific to them and their business and community interest.

This type of fellowship and spirited exchange of information was a win-win situation for both attendees and legislators.

Sponsors for this event were AT&T MOBILITY, MERCY MEDICAL CENTER, CITY OF BALTIMORE, JOHNS HOPKINS HEALTH SYSTEMS, WALTERS RELOCATIONS, WEAA RADIO, VERIZON, and AMERICAN AIRLINES.  WHAT A GREAT TEAM!

Security Plus Grand Opening

SECURITYPLUS CEO RICHARD WILLIAMS, JR, RECEIVES CHAMBER MEMBERSHIP  CERTIFICATE FROM BALTIMORE CITY CHAMBER PRESIDENT CHARLES R. OWENS

On April 25, 2012  SecurityPlus Federal Credit Union held a grand opening of its  new branch in Baltimore’s Roland Park neighborhood.  Conveniently located at 4800 Roland Ave. in the Roland Park Shopping Center.

The full service branch is among the first of Baltimore’s financial institutions to feature state of the art teller pod stations instead of the traditional teller windows as a way to create an open, welcoming environment for its members.

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, featuring board members, staff, Baltimore City Chamber President, city offices and community members, all were treated to a tour of the facility.  An internet café station, coffee bar and pod stations, instead of teller windows for business transactions were featured.
